The 25th World Congress of Philosophy was held in Rome, Italy from August 1 to August 8, 2024. The organizers of this most famous global gathering of philosophers were the International Federation of Philosophical Societies (FISP), the Italian Philosophical Society, and Sapienza University of Rome.
The general theme of the Congress was “Philosophy across Boundaries,” divided into five “Spheres of Boundaries” (Personality, Transitions, Justice, Earth, and Infinity), each of which was represented by two symposia and one plenary session. The Congress included eighty-nine sections for the presentation of papers from various philosophical disciplines, lectures by invited prominent philosophers, as well as special lectures, dialogue sessions, round tables, and student sessions.
Prof. Dr. Jasna Koteska was invited by the Trinity College in Toronto, the Faculty of Philosophy in Ljubljana, the Central European Research Institute for Søren Kierkegaard Slovenia (CERI-SK) and by the International Alliance for Social Epistemology and Huazhou University of Science and Technology, China.
The titles of her papers are: 1) "Foucault's Work between Philosophy and Psychoanalysis", 2) "The Concept of Oikonomia of Relations", 3) "Still the Spy of God: Søren Kierkegaard for the 21st Century" and 4) "Global Social Epistemology for the Contemporary Globalized World".
